DISH-On-Demand's SCREAM FEST 2000 double features include: FRANKENSTEIN / THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN Frankenstein (1931): Sticking close to the original novel, the movie weaves viewers through the story of Dr. Frankenstein's quest for knowledge and his creation's emotional turmoil. Frankenstein stars Boris Karloff as the monster. Bride of Frankenstein (1935): A mad scientist finds Dr. Frankenstein and the monster (Boris Karloff), forcing Dr. Frankenstein to help him create a female companion for the monster. RAISING CAIN / HALLOWEEN II Raising Cain (1992): Starring John Lithgow, the infamous thriller features Jenny Nix, wife of eminent child psychologist Carter Nix. Local kidnappings force Jenny to investigate the possibility that Carter may be trying to recreate mind-control experiments on children. Halloween II (1981): Just when you thought it was safe to go trick-or-treating...Halloween II once again stars Jamie Lee Curtis as the heroine while Michael Myers' indestructibility resumes with a continuation of murder sprees despite being gunned down with six bullets in the original film. THE MUMMY / THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON The Mummy (1932): Starring Boris Karloff, The Mummy features a field expedition in Egypt that discovers the mummy of ancient prince Im-Ho-Tep, who was condemned and buried alive for sacrilege. Also found in the tomb is the Scroll of Thoth, which can bring the dead back to life. The Creature from The Black Lagoon (1954): A scientific expedition searching for fossils along the Amazon River discovers a prehistoric gilled creature in the legendary Black Lagoon. The creature is captured then escapes to kidnap the pretty fiancee of one of the scientists. CHILD'S PLAY 2 / CHILD'S PLAY 3 Child's Play 2 (1990): Chucky's back! The notorious killer doll resurrects once again as the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray who demonizes young Andy Barclay's doll to try and possess his soul. Child's Play 3 (1991): Eight years after the last wrath of Chucky, the toy company decides to relaunch the Good Guy doll. As they reuse old materials, the spirit of Charles Lee Ray once again appears. The killer doll falls into the hands of a young boy, and it is up to the now-teenage Andy Barclay to save him.
