FADE IN:

Saw the Space Shuttle lift off from the Space Center today to start off the day on a good foot.  Pretty amazing thing to see.  It's better from the beach, but the view from here isn't bad.

Just got off the phone with my Screenwriting Buddy.   His notes on Island Life were positive.  Almost everything that he mentioned that wasn't there that he thought should have been there were things that I have already cut out of the draft.  And he's probably right that they do belong in the story.   I know the first ten pages that I wrote could easily go back into the script.   Other things that he mentioned are fairly simple rewrites.  I hope.  I'll find out when I start diving into it.  Need to think about it for a couple of days and think about where I will make the additions to the story.  Some are no brainers.   Others are touchy.  I'll be ready to crank again on Monday.  I'll probably put the early scene back into it today and re-read the first act later tonight when the phone stops ringing.  Going to have a quiet night tonight.  Been fighting a nasty cold this week.

Tiger Woods will probably come back and win again this weekend.  Yesterday he played poorly for the first time in God only knows how long.  He's truly an amazing Golfer.

Is it possible to make an interesting movie about Golf?

Caddy Shack has some good laughs.  Kevin Costners flick was - well, I don't know what I'd say about that one.  Think I'll hold my tongue on that movie.
